Phillippa Rose founded the agency Current Works and has worked with international retailer Decathlon, niche lifestyle brand Nkuku, data clients including The Open Data Institute and the App Business, various government departments and Fortune 500 Corporations. She is currently working with Deloitte on Customer Experience strategy in the public sector, and collaborating with ‘Do Design’ author Alan Moore, on a programme of leadership development and immersive learning experiences for global purpose-led businesses. Previous roles include being Director of Redfront service design agency, and managing national programmes at Enterprise UK and NESTA.
Phillippa has worked in design led innovation for over 15 years, leading organisations through strategy, leadership development and enabling new design led approaches to today’s business challenges. She is a firm believer that a connected community is a dynamic force for positive social change and has enjoyed various voluntary non-exec roles including serving on the Fellowship Council of the Royal Society of Arts Manufacture and Commerce. She is an active member of the global service design community and has co-hosted five Global Service Jams including the first Global Gov Jam in the UK.
Phillippa regularly speaks and writes about service design and innovation, including co-authoring the ‘This is Service Design Doing’ book. She is passionate about bridging the gap between education and industry, serving as a faculty member of MA Service Design and the BA Design Management and Cultures at University of the Arts London.
