Gavin Bargus is an experienced leader with a broad knowledge of design and business. Strategic in thinking & doing, passionate about delivering on business goals that meet real needs. Customer, brand & end-user driven, he designs & manages processes that keep the big picture present whilst delivering on the details. He is a hands-on designer and currently leads the multidisciplinary innovation team of designers and business developers at Norwegian Red Cross, Norway's largest volunteer humanitarian organisation focussing on disaster preparedness to help and assist local authorities when an unexpected and unwanted incident occurs.
Together with his team, he works with supporting organisational change and development through humanitarian project & program innovations. Gavin has worked as a design leader in Norway and internationally for over 20 years. He has worked within global organisations like Telenor as Global Design Manager, and at McCannDesign as Experience Design Director, and he worked as a Design Consultant with well known Scandinavian agencies as well as running his own consultancy supporting smaller start ups with design & innovation services.
Gavin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Design from Middlesex University.
