Alexandra Coutsoucos is a senior service and strategic designer at Livework Studio and has recently started a position as fellow design researcher at Politecnico di Milano’s DESIS Lab for social innovation. Alexandra is interested in the reasons that drive society as we know it and likes to speculate about alternative realities. In her practice and studies, Alexandra explores the synergies between service design and urban developments, interested in helping the cultural, social, and economic shifts necessary for societies to thrive in future urban contexts.
At Livework, Alexandra works on international projects where she uses service design methodologies to deliver experience masterplans that create harmonious living of people in the context of urban regeneration projects or new developments. At Politecnico Alexandra takes part in the project SMOTIES, a four-year research project funded by Creative Europe in collaboration with ten European partners. The project is about the application of co-design and participatory practices for the revitalisation of remote urbanities.
