Jeffrey Koh, PhD is Associate Professor, Regenerative Design & Circular Economy at Singapore Institute of Technology. Previously at Chemistry, he acted as lead consultant and advisor for transformation projects. As an experience designer, he developed fashion shows for designer brands and has also worked as a tech entrepreneur and advisor in the areas of artificial intelligence, fine art provenance and crowdsourcing. He has patents for his research in Japan, and has published numerous peer-reviewed papers and books on various topics including human-computer interaction, experience design and cultural robotics.

He led teams at Chemistry that focused on projects such as Circular Fashion on the Blockchain, and Circular Built Environment on the Blockchain, which received grants from the IMDA as well as the government of the Netherlands, culminating in close to 400k SGD in funding for both projects. He also helped Chemistry to become B-Corp certified in 2020.

In the past, Jeffrey worked as a fine artist, exhibiting in venues such as the Barbican, Singapore Design Festival, and Archifest, and was previously an Assistant Director at the National Gallery Singapore. He has a Bachelor's in fine arts from ArtEZ University of the Arts (Netherlands), a Master’s in Narrative Environments from Central Saint Martins (London, UK) and a PhD in Integrative Sciences and Engineering from the National University of Singapore.
