Medical fellow, Conicet
Ezequiel Arrieta is a Medical Doctor and PhD in Biological Sciences from the Faculty of Exact, Physical and Natural Sciences at the National University of Córdoba. After completing his medical degree with aspirations to become a paediatrician, Ezequiel's passion for science led him to pursue a doctorate in molecular biology. He later shifted his focus to sustainable diets, and he is now a medical fellow at Conicet and a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute of Multidisciplinary Plant Biology (IMBIV).
Ezequiel is an editor and content creator for El Gato y La Caja, a platform focused on the communication of science. He co-authored the book "Clima. El desafío de diseño más grande de todos los tiempos“ (Climate. The greatest design challenge of all time), an interdisciplinary and complex look at climate change and a call to start designing a future in the face of the most urgent crisis of our times. He is an active speaker at the Red de Divulgación Científica de Córdoba and an advocate for open access to knowledge and technology.
Currently residing in Córdoba, Argentina, Ezequiel works on research projects involving healthy and sustainable diets. His interdisciplinary approach to science and dedication to accessible knowledge make him an emerging leader in the fields of biology, sustainable nutrition, and science communication.
