As Lead Sustainability at Livework studio, Anna van der Togt works at the forefront of service design and sustainability, bridging the realms of the two fields. Her mission involves not only guiding and inspiring Livework's clients beyond the realm of carbon measurement and reporting but also propelling them towards genuine transformation. This entails co-creating and facilitating change and designing products, services and organisations for a regenerative future. Within Livework, she coordinates across clients and projects, ensuring that all designers systematically update their mental models, approaches, and toolsets to integrate the ecological perspective.
As a pragmatic environmentalist, Anna draws from over seven years of experience in complex service innovation projects and transformation programs at organisations such as JPMorgan and Adidas. However, she refrains from claiming to possess all the answers. Anna remains perpetually inquisitive, consistently prototyping the latest thinking in running client projects. Her curiosity focuses on post-growth businesses, unlocking circularity, system-oriented design and innovation in a VUCA world.
