Academic Coordinator, Universidad de San Andrés
Pablo Fernández Vallejo is an industrial designer and Academic Coordinator for the undergraduate program in Design at the Universidad de San Andrés, Buenos Aires. He has postgraduate studies in Open Design for Innovation at the Humboldt University of Berlin and the University of Buenos Aires and Design Thinking at the Hasso Plattner Institute. Pablo is also part of the BAServiceDesign team, a non-profit initiative that champions human-centred service design through meetups, jams, and DXS - Argentina's first conference on service innovation from a design perspective.
Pablo has served as design lead at the General Directorate of Innovation for the City of Buenos Aires and as a service designer at LABGobAr, the Argentine Government's innovation lab.
In 2017, he was recognised as a Civic Innovation Fellow by the French consultancy Five by Five. Since then, he has developed social innovation and public sector projects in Argentina, Germany, Spain, and the Philippines. His work demonstrates a commitment to user-centric approaches and innovative thinking, drawing from diverse fields such as service design, ethnographic research, and technology integration to create meaningful solutions for global challenges.
