Kate Okrasinski is Director of Innovation at MAKE Studios in Hong Kong, a strategic design consultancy. Drawing from her experience as an executive coach and strategic designer, Kate works with organisations to design and drive business transformation, cultural and organisational change programs.
As a former top-level athletic coach Kate's experience helps her to cultivate and drive clarity, confidence, and collaboration at an individual, team, and organisational level - enabling high performance even in adverse environments. She approaches innovation as a verb. Rather than a product or service to be bought or built, she sees innovation as an intrinsic way of being, thinking and engaging to deliver holistic value. By blending human-centric disciplines, such as design thinking and service design, Kate helps organisations to navigate the complex digital landscape to solve business challenges. Her clients include ING, HSBC, and International Labor Organisation.
Kate has been speaking at SXSW, and is a contributor to the Design Thinking training curriculum for the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT).
