Professor of Strategic Design, Universidad de San Andrés
María Spitaleri is a Professor of Strategic Design at the Universidad de San Andrés in Buenos Aires where she also conducts a project-based workshop that addresses complexity and systemic thinking for fourth-year students of the Bachelor in Design. She is passionate about learning, sharing, and creating knowledge with professors and advanced students of strategic design.
For over 20 years, María worked for consulting agencies helping organisations enhance their impact through strategy and design. Believing in the power of networking, she became an independent consultant in 2018 and was introduced to the worlds of social innovation and creative leadership. María is an advocate for collective knowledge and is hopeful about the way we look at businesses. She collaborates with change-making organisations like 'Kolibri' (Latin America), 'Brand The Change' (Kenya) and 'Amani Institute' (global), designing and hosting virtual and in-person co-creation spaces for innovation to happen within organisations. She holds an Amani Postgraduate Certificate in Social Innovation Management.
