At the 7th edition of the Service Design Days, a mixed group of international experts will invite you to actively join them in their journey to challenge the status quo and shift the paradigm. This year’s speakers and workshop leaders aren’t the usual onstage experts. As you know from us, we firmly believe that you’ll learn the most from professionals who roll up their sleeves day in, day out and get their hands dirty, so to speak. Who put their knowledge to the test on a daily basis, tackling real-life issues, outside or inside their organisation’s or their client’s, and creating value for the long run.

At SDD2022, we have teamed-up these design practitioners with theorists and academics, all experts in fields like social design, anthropology, systemic design, DesOps, business design and foresight. Join their interactive masterclasses or get prepared for a back-to-school experience by joining their participative lectures. They provide you with a range of proven concepts and useful methods and tools, combining the latest insights in their fields with inspiring cases supported with scientific data and research findings.

Check out our speaker line-up and join these activists, rebels, leaders and dreamers of what the world could be. And if you recognise these qualities in yourself, then join us September 16 and 17 in Barcelona, and learn how to get started with replacing short-sighted plans with long-term visions. Envisioning a better tomorrow. And joining forces to make that happen.

SDD2022 offers a fully interactive, two-day program with future-focused keynotes, insightful case talks, inspirational lectures and hands-on workshops. The place to be is Barcelona’s Design Hub, a place where passionate and creative designers meet. Here, you will have the opportunity to engage, discuss, ask questions and share ideas with both speakers and fellow participants.

And this year we're picking up again the visits to some of the most innovative agencies and organisations in Barcelona. On Thursday, September 15, you will be able to step into the workspaces of a selection of human-centred and experience-driven organisations in the city as they open their doors exclusively to the SDD audience.

On Thursday evening, September 15, participants are invited to our famous kick-off party which will take place in one of Barcelona's coolest hidden gems; an old industrial warehouse, located in a heritage district of the city. During this informal opening session, you will not only meet your wonderful fellow participants but also most of the speakers. You can connect on a fun and personal basis to positively influence your interactions during the rest of the conference. And, of course, have a drink and enjoy the Catalan hospitality!

Weather permitting, we'll end the conference on one of Barcelona's beaches. For sharing experiences, making plans for next year and, if you like to, taking a dip in the Mediterranean.
