Anton is Head of Design at Futurice, a company built on transparency, systems thinking and working lean. Over the last 16 years the company has evolved from a product house into a versatile agency that does everything from meat-and-potatoes tech development to advising major corporations on how to change the way they work to enable true digital transformation. Anton is a user centered design and innovation expert. He has spent more than 20 years working with numerous design consultancies in the UK and 10 years at IDEO with periods in both San Francisco, Chicago and Munich. Some clients Anton has worked with include; Vodafone, Lufthansa, Prada, VW, Nespresso, Steelcase, Tesco, Ubisoft, Scandic and Nordic Choice Hotels to name a few. Anton’s expertise is focused on organisational change, new ways of working and innovation process for new products and services.

Digitalisation is changing the role of the customer from being a distant & passive buyer, payer and user of products and services to where customers are active & engaged e.g. in delivering, selling, marketing, and developing products and services. Social media and the digital revolution has enabled new ways for companies and customers to engage with each other far beyond the core products and services. This trend is disrupting traditional value models and customer empowerment is now more important than ever. How might companies embrace this change in the future?
